Teaching
Rebecca offers focused teaching, working with individuals to meet their specific goals.
Her specialisms include tuition in classical and jazz piano, music theory, harmony, arranging, composition, and practical musicianship. Lessons can take place individually or within a group setting.
Teaching in person or online: £50 p/h
Block of 10 sessions (1-hour): £450
About Rebecca
Rebecca holds regular teaching positions at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Bristol Cathedral Choir School. She has also given workshops, and examined at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Trinity College of Music and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
In addition, she has taught at National Youth Jazz Collective, Jazzlines, and National Youth Jazz Wales. She co-designed the syllabus for Cheltenham Festival’s outreach programme Musicate. She is also a critical friend of Bristol Beacon’s flagship project Earthsong.
In 2024, Rebecca had her first commission for Youth Jazz Orchestra. The new composition, Undergold, is due to be performed by the Music For Life Orchestra in partnership with Jazz North East and Arts Council England.
